No. 39 - An 18 month old bull that is from an all black Galloway and belted Galloway but with Friesian looking markings.
He isn't aggressive and is well trained to an electric fence. Tb tested clear on 26 April 2018.
All animals have been raised "organically". Although not certified, we intervene as little as possible with the animal's natural birth and growth. Adult cattle will have been given trace element boluses. No herbicides, pesticides or inorganic fertilizers are used on the paddocks and drenching has been limited to calves. We maintain low stock numbers and the animals are always moved quietly and without stress and are easy to work with. They have been TB tested clear and there have been no positive TB tests for as long as we have been raising cattle (10 years.) All are or will be NAIT tagged before leaving.
Transport can be arranged at your cost. Loading facilities available though smaller stock trucks only.
**** Mycoplasma Bovis Note ****
All animals were born on our farm. We have not brought any animals on to the farm for over four years and do not use AI. Although the animals have not been tested, none of our animals show symptoms and due to our operation it is highly unlikely any animals on our property are infected. All our neighbour's herds are clear as far as we know.
